The Mazco Valve Changer enables safe, gas-free removal and replacement of most 1/2″ to 2″ rectangular port and ball meter valves on steel and anodeless PE risers operating up to 100 psi. Designed for utility crews and gas service technicians, this tool enhances public and worker safety by eliminating the need to release natural gas during valve change-outs. Operating the Valve Changer involves a straightforward four-step procedure: identify the valve and riser, install the changer and stopper below the valve, remove the defective valve, then install the replacement valve.
