Description
The Meter Union Guard is a rugged three-piece construction of case hardened steel with corrosion-resistant plating. It is an easy to install locking device that completely encompasses the meter union nut to eliminate unauthorized removal of the gas meter, and prevent unsafe gas meter bypasses.
Cost-effective and easy to install, each meter connector nut lock also comes with an optional blind disc used to stop the flow of gas for non-payment.
To block the flow of gas, simply:
- Turn off the gas valve
- Remove the meter union nut
- Insert the blind disc
- Tighten the meter union nut
- Install meter union nut lock & secure with barrel lock
Additional benefits include:
- Easy to install - just add a barrel lock
