The RuB s.8043 dielectric tamper proof brass ball valve is a durable and reliable choice for use in natural gas service, specifically designed to be paired with a gas meter, as well as many industrial and commercial valve applications.


Available for order in ¾” – 1-1/4” sizes, the s.8043 is designed to work under 600 PSI non-shock cold working pressure and a 250 PSI non-shock working pressure for LP-Gas. The s.8043 features several key material and design choices which promote a long and reliable service life:

  • Hot forged sand blasted, unplated brass body and cap sealed with Loctite® or equivalent thread sealant
  • Blowout-proof unplated brass stem
  • Hot forged brass tamper proof lockwing
  • Pure PTFE self-lubricating seats with flexible-lip design

With a full port design, the valve can easily be installed in various systems with ease.
