Using the barcode wand or scanner enables a quick insertion of fusion parameters by reading the related bar code. The barcode wand operates best when held at a perpendicular angle of 10–30 degrees and run across the barcode label in one continuous swipe (can be swiped forward or backwards on the label). A successful reading is confirmed by an acoustic tone and a display change.
