The Georg Fischer Electrofusion Saddle Underclamp is a durable, reusable clamping solution designed to ensure proper alignment and secure installation of GF Central Plastics electrofusion tapping tees. Available in sizes 1-1/4", 2", 3", 4", and 6" IPS, these ribbed metal underclamps are engineered for reliability, ease of use, and long service life.
The Electrofusion Saddle Underclamp is compatible with a wide range of GF Central Plastics electrofusion fittings, including Service Tapping Tees, High Volume Tapping Tees, Branch Saddles, VersaTap® & Purge Fittings, as well as Corp and Transition Saddles.
Features- Simplified Design: The casting component, flip bar, and knurled thumb screws found in earlier versions have been eliminated, reducing setup errors and streamlining operation.
- Consistent Clamping Force: A combination hand and wrench-tightened hex bolt replaces the traditional cam and pressure plate, maintaining constant clamping pressure throughout the life of the clamp.
- Enhanced Mechanism: Controlled screw-driven advance with a positive stop ensures proper clamping force is always achieved, regardless of fitting type. A bearing at the loading point eliminates wear at the pressure plate for longer product life.
