GPL 750 Odorant Injection System

Brand: GPL Odorizers
CSA CSA
The GPL 750 Odorizer draws from advanced proprietary technology to deliver precise odorization even in problematic conditions.

Low-volume, intermittent-volume, even no-flow conditions do not impede the unit’s performance.

The PLC receives flow information and automatically compensates the injection rate to provide uniform odorant distribution.

The GPL 750 excels in low-flow natural gas odorization applications. The odorizer is appropriate for municipalities and small city gate stations.

The GPL 750 RNG excels in odorizing biogas and biomethane (renewable natural gas) and is for biomethane and biogas producers.

Why Choose the GPL 750 Odourizer

Value Elements
  • Reliable Low-Flow Odorization
    • The GPL 750 is designed for accurate odorization in low-flow, no-flow, and intermittent-flow applications, helping maintain odorant levels when demand is minimal or inconsistent.
  • Wide Operating Range
    • Its high turndown capability supports changing flow conditions without frequent adjustment, making it a strong fit for systems with variable demand.
  • Ventless, Low-Odor Operation
    • The sealed-loop design prevents gas and odorant from being discharged to the atmosphere, helping reduce nuisance odour, false leak calls, odorant waste, and emissions.
  • Simple, Low-Maintenance Design
    • With fewer components, fittings, and tubing than many conventional systems, the GPL 750 is designed to be easier to set up, operate, and maintain.
  • Monitoring and Compliance Support
    • Modern controls, data logging, remote monitoring, real-time alerts, and SCADA compatibility help operators track performance and support odorization recordkeeping.

Comparison vs. Next Best Alternative
  • Closed-Loop Design
    • Unlike odorizers that vent gas or odorant during operation, the GPL 750 uses a sealed system, keeping the process cleaner and reducing odour at the site.
  • Stronger Performance at Low or Intermittent Flow
    • Many traditional systems are better suited to steady flow. The GPL 750 is built for difficult low-volume applications where flow may fluctuate or temporarily stop.
  • Fewer Components to Manage
    • Its simplified mechanical design reduces complexity compared with more component-heavy odorization systems, helping limit maintenance points and potential leak sources.
  • Easier Setup and Service
    • The GPL 750 is designed to be simple to install, configure, and maintain, making it practical for utilities that need reliable odorization without unnecessary complexity.

Where Do I Use This Product and Why?
  • Municipal Gas Systems
    • Use the GPL 750 where gas demand is low, variable, or seasonal, and consistent odorization still needs to be maintained.
  • Small City Gate Stations
    • A strong fit for lower-volume station odorization where accurate dosing is required across changing flow conditions.
  • RNG and Biogas Facilities
    • Ideal for renewable natural gas and biogas applications where production and flow can fluctuate throughout the day.
  • Low-Flow Natural Gas or Propane Systems
    • Use it where reduced flow rates make conventional odorization more difficult to control accurately.
  • Temporary Odorization and Pipe Pickling
    • The GPL 750 can support mobile or short-term odorization needs where a compact, controlled system is required.
