The RuB s.80 SurePass bypassing gas meter valve is a durable and reliable choice for use in natural gas service, specifically designed to be paired with a gas meter. One quick turn of the valve switches from normal metered flow to bypass mode for rapid on-line servicing of the gas meter or regulator.
 
Available for order in 3/4” – 1” sizes, the s.80 SurePass is designed to work under 175 PSI non-shock cold working. The s.80 SurePass features several key material and design choices which promote a long and reliable service life:
  • Rust-proof forged brass body, ball, stem and lockwing
  • Maintenance- free, double FPM O-rings at the stem for maximum safety, eliminate gas emissions
  • Pure PTFE seats with flexible-lip design
  • Tamper proof lockwing
  • Single lever operation for positive switch from metering to bypassing
With a full port design, the valve can easily be installed in various systems with ease.
