Description
The Plug Valve Operator Restraining Tool is used to restrain the Plug Valve operator while repairing the Plug Valve. This ensures that the Plug Valve is not opened or closed during repair.
The Plug Valve Operator Restraining Socket is first inserted over the Plug Valve Operator. The Plug Valve Operator Restraining Tool Handle is slid over the shank until it is at ground level. The tee set screw is tightened.
Finally the utility worker holds everything securely by placing their foot on the handle to make sure the Plug Valve Stem does not move.
