Paladin Outdoor Barrel Lock & Key System Overview

The Paladin Barrel Lock and Key System is the first utility locking system without a keyway. This feature means you don't have to worry about dealing with locks that have been picked, jammed or contaminated. The face of the barrel lock is solid and sealed, so dirt, sand, and water cannot enter the lock mechanism. Inserting of foreign objects into the lock mechanism by disgruntled consumers or vandals is also prevented.

How to Engage & Release the Paladin Lock Series

To install a Paladin lock, simply push the key into the lock - when you hear it click once, it’s in. You then squeeze the trigger to allow the balls to retract and insert the lock into the ring or guard. Then let go of the trigger and remove the key.

Engaging the Paladin Lock & Key System:
  • Push key into lock until you hear it click once
  • Squeeze trigger to retract balls
  • Insert lock into ring or guard
Releasing the Paladin Barrel Lock & Key System:
  • Let go of trigger
  • Remove the key
